Debbie's Note

One thing I love about using freeze-dried strawberries is that I don’t end up throwing away moldy fruit. I can keep them on hand, use exactly what I need, and enjoy strawberry flavor anytime—without the waste.

📝 Prep Notes / Variations

  • Kefir swap: Use low-fat Greek yogurt or unsweetened almond milk if kefir isn’t available.

  • Sweetness: Naturally sweet from strawberries; add a pinch of stevia only if needed.

  • Crunch fix: Soft freeze-dried strawberries can regain crunch by sitting uncovered in the refrigerator, which

    helps pull out excess moisture.
